2008 Porsche 997 GT3 RSR (2009 EVO Specification)

2008 Porsche 997 GT3 RSR (2009 EVO Specification)

Delivered new by Porsche Motorsport North America directly to Miami based team Vici Racing (copies of the original purchase in the history file), for the 2008/2009 American Le Mans Series.

In 2009, Porsche Motorsport introduced an Evo upgrade package that improved performance and handling, this included:

  • Revised aerodynamics: new front splitter, rear wing, and diffuser for improved downforce and balance
  • Updated ECU mapping and intake system for refined throttle response and increased top-end power
  • Improved suspension geometry and adjustable dampers
  • Cooling enhancements for endurance reliability

Today the car is presented in extremely good condition, race prepared by a top UK based team to the highest standard. It also benefits from recently having a complete engine and gearbox rebuild by industry experts in 2025, Crack-Test Certificate in 2025, Brake seal service in 2025, new tank certification and new clutch. The seat and seat belts are valid until the end of 2026. The car is in true race-ready condition.

A potential winner in the new Peter Auto ERL2 and Le Mans Classic 2026.
