1997 Audi A4 quattro Super Touring - ex-works Emanuele Pirro
This is the last ever A4 quattro built by the factory to Class 2 / Super Touring regulations and therefore represents the absolute zenith of what some would argue is the greatest Super Touring car ever. So dominant was the four-wheel-drive Audi A4 that the rule-makers just kept adding weight until the car was too heavy to race!
Raced by 5-time Le Mans winner Emanuele Pirro as a works entry in the 1997 ADAC Deutsche Super Touren Wagen-Cup (Germany’s equivalent of the BTCC at the time), this chassis was a race winner in STW with him and remains entirely original.
