1994 Volvo 850 Estate - 1 of 3 Super Touring Estates ever made
Chassis 001 is one of the three 1994 Volvo 850 Estate Super Tourers built by the legendary Le Mans-winning Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) - the same year its founder engineered Michael Schumacher to his first Formula 1 World Championship. Volvo works BTCC drivers that year were Swedish legend Rickard Rydell and TWR Jaguar Le Mans winner Jan Lammers.
Totally untouched since it last raced, 001 has never left Sweden for more than a run up the hill at Goodwood, but is now back in the UK where it was created, 31 years after it left the entire BTCC paddock (drivers, journos and fans) completely stunned.
The greatest piece of motorsport marketing ever. Good old Walkinshaw.
