Rofgo Racing went into the Peter Auto CER rounds at Paul Ricard on 1-2 September with high hopes of double podium for the teams Lola T70 Mk3b and the Mirage GR7. Qualifying on pole for both grids all looked on target. The GR7 had wheel bearing failure in the last 3 minutes of the race and resulted in the team having to settle for 2nd in class.
The team's Lola T70 Mk3B was started by team principal Roald Goethe handing over the car to former WEC World Championship winner Stuart Hall. Stuart retook the lead in the last 5 minutes of the race and set fastest lap of the race as well as overall victory. A great result for the team.
